Gone Baby Gone

Based on the Dennis Lehane novel about two Boston area detectives investigating a little girl's kidnapping, which ultimately turns into a crisis both professionally and personally.

I was impressed by this movie. I thought Ben Affleck as a director and writer was going to be a disaster, but it sure wasn't. The movie is very interesting because it takes up troubling issues like molesting and harming children. This movie also rises some good moral questions witch I bet you and your friends will have different opinions on, but talking about that now is a spoiler.
The movie is good and has assembled a great cast, so you can't expect less. It's a very authentic movie and shows you how cruel or good people can be.

The Tattooist

A young artist (Behr) unknowingly plays a role in releasing a deadly spirit as he attempts to learn tatau, the Samoan tradition of tattooing.

I didn't dig or love this movie in any way. It had no really scary parts or good scenes, but it manages to keep you entertained for 1 hour and 30 mins. I watch this movie mainly because I had no other movies I wanted to see. So before you see this movie you should have seen a lot of other good movies first.

Rating: Entertaining, but not a good movie.

Wrong Turn 2 - Dead End

A group of reality show contestants find themselves fighting for their survival against a family of hideously deformed inbred cannibals who plan to ruthlessly butcher them all.

I really like Wrong Turn, it was terrifying and had that creepy feel to it. I felt like Wrong Turn 2 was too similar to the first one. I hit me as a splatter movie quiet fast with the first scene, witch involves a big axe and a poor girl (Cool scene if you ask me). After that the movie dropped big time and didn't excite me at all until Col. Dale (Henry Rollins) goes Rambo.
Form my viewpoint this horror movie is the kind where you laugh when someone gets killed and you basically laugh your way through this film.

Rating: Bad horror movie. Funny movie, but has a LOT of blood in it. So if you what to be scared see something else.

Ten stories, each inspired by one of the ten commandments.

A new movie for my top 10 list for sucky movies. The story was poorly told and didn't make any sense, but it wasn't like absurd funny either. It was a painful experience to see this movie. The one thing I don't get is how they managed to get so many good actors.

Rating: Baaaaad. I can't recommend this movie to anyone.

The Game Plan

An NFL quarterback living the bachelor lifestyle discovers that he has a 8-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

My opinion is Walt Disney has done it again. Great, funny and entertaining movie. It has the same style as the good old Walt Disney movies. It gives you that good old Walt Disney feeling.

Rating: Great movie, but remember its a children's movie. Nice for a family night:D
